Join us for our annual Spring Garden Seminar!This year we added a Friday night festivities. On March 29, in the evening, there will be a keynote speaker and we will be serving wine and cheese. Our keynote speaker will be Peter Lowe. Saturday, March 30, there will be all day presentations with a variety of speakers covering different gardening topics, including: Peter Lowe (Dawes Arboretum)The keynote speech at the reception on Friday night will discuss Dawes Arboretum and the influence public gardens have on garden trends while, his Saturday presentation will focus on native alternatives to invasive plants. Gabe Tilove (Phipp's Conservatory)He speaking about the benefits that raised beds offer and reviewing the attributes of different raised bed materials.Joanne Ranck Dirks (Landis Valley Village and Farm Museum)She will be discussing the heirloom seed project, as well as seed saving basics in her presentation! Cynthia PageshShe will be talking about The Herb Society of America. Lunch will be provided and there will be a historic garden tour.
