America250

America 250

The journey toward this historic milestone is an opportunity to pause and reflect on our nation’s past, honor the contributions of all Americans, and look ahead toward the future we want to create for the next generation and beyond.

The Pennsylvania Commission for the United States Semiquincentennial (America250PA) was established by the legislature and Governor in 2018 to plan, encourage, develop and coordinate the commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, Pennsylvania’s integral role in that event, and the impact of its people on the nation’s past, present, and future.

The 250th Commemoration allows Pennsylvanians the opportunity to showcase its amazing people, places, and businesses that make us #PAPROUD. To capture the best the Commonwealth has to offer, it requires a statewide effort.

To ensure the success of this grand occasion, we are assembling a dedicated and enthusiastic team of individuals who share a passion for community engagement, event planning, and a deep appreciation for our nation’s history. The committee will be responsible for various aspects of the Beaver County’s America 250 Celebration, including event logistics, outreach, promotional activities, and coordination with local authorities. Your expertise would be particularly beneficial in ensuring that our events are not only memorable but also reflective of the spirit of unity and patriotism.

If you are interested in joining the committee, please let us know at your earliest convenience or join us at one of our meetings where we can discuss the committee’s goals, responsibilities, and upcoming milestones. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in creating an unforgettable celebration that will be cherished by our community for years to come.
